Changes in the Law:

Original Law and in several of your current documentations:

Exclusion of a pre-existing condition from health insurance coverage may now be done only if the person received medical advice, diagnosis, care, or treatment for that condition during the six-month period prior to the date of the person’s enrollment in the health insurance plan. Such denial of coverage for that pre-existing condition cannot generally exceed 9 months.

Change was to 12 months. You would set up the Find & Replace Text Enhancer as follows:

Begins with: Exclusion of a pre-existing condition from health insurance coverage may now be done only if the person received medical advice, diagnosis, care, or treatment for that condition during the six-month period prior to the date of the person’s enrollment in the health insurance plan. Such denial of coverage for that pre-existing condition cannot generally exceed

Ends with: months.

Inside text: 9

Operation: Replace – Inside Text – 12

You can copy and paste the Begins with text so that you do not have to type it.

You can now open any other document that has this old law and update it in a flash, by simply keeping the utility open while you switch between documents.

HTML Editing:

You can find and replace the raw HTML since or just edit the viewable text of your HTML documents using word. We recommend only performing replacements using the HTML/Text mode since Word(R) will place extra entries in otherwise. You can modify/replace headers, titles, images, image locations, css, javascript, vbscript, anything text....

Have a folder change across your site?

<img src=".\images\fruits\apple.jpg> 'to' <img src=".\images\vegnfruit\apple.jpg>

Use the following to change the fruits to folder to vegnfruit

Begin:<img src=

End: >

Inside: /fruit/

Replace: /vegnfruit/

This would only change image locations from fruit to vegnfruit - no worries about potential other replacements of the word fruit.

Only want to change jpg locations but leave gifs alone?

Use the But Not Text field: .gif

Now any img tag using the fruit folder will not touch gif files.

Large block replacements::

Microsoftâ Wordâ will only allow you to put up to 255 characters in the find and replace fields.  With our utility you can place entire paragraphs as many as you want into the begins with and ends with fields allowing you to block replace text like never before.

Example:

Begins with:This employee protection can be lost if there is a roughly two-month break between coverages.

Employers are also required to provide their employees who lose coverage under their health insurance plans with certificates detailing their length of coverage. These certificates are then used to prove prior coverage to new health insurers for purposes of determining whether and for how long coverage of a pre-existing condition can be denied.

Operation: Delete – Selection

This would have deleted these paragraphs from your document.  You could have also performed a large insertion after/before them or replaced them with some other large amount of text.

Need to highlight for your studies.  Use the Highlight Operation.

Example:  Your studying for a law exam and you want to focus in on Property Tax Law and you know you need to focus in on the 105-129 sections.  You could set up a two pass Highlight like such:

Begins with: 105-129

Ends with: property

Operation: Highlight –Yellow - Selection

Operation: Highlight – Red – End

Your text would look like the below after the two passes:

G.S. 105-129.36 - Rehabilitating Nonincome-Producing Historic Structure: This new statute consolidates the existing corporation and individual income tax credits for rehabilitating a nonincome-producing historic structure. Subsection (a) sets out the credit, which is recodified from G.S. 105-130.42(b) and G.S. 105-151.23(b). The consolidated credit does not change the substance of the prior credits for nonincome-producing property. As under current law, the historic structure for which this credit is claimed must be State-certified. …..

G.S. 105-129.37 - Credit Restrictions: This statutes specifies the tax against which this credit can be claimed and the limitations on the credit. The provisions of this section consist of the provisions in repealed G.S. 105-130.42(c) and G.S. 105-151.23(c) plus new provisions on forfeiture of the credit for rehabilitating income-producing property. Subsection (a) provides that the credit is allowed only against the income tax imposed by Article 4 of Chapter 105. Subsection (b) limits the credit …..

G.S. 105-275(41) - Technical Change: This new subdivision recodifies an exemption that was in G.S. 140-15, which was repealed. The exemption is for art objects held by the North Carolina Art Society, Incorporated. The exemption was moved from G.S. 140-15 to G.S. 105-275 so that all the exemptions and exclusions from property tax would be in the same place.
(Effective July 22, 1999; SB 55, s. 35, S.L. 99-337.)
